During and after her studies of Latin American Archaeology and Anthropology, Art History and
Classical Archeology at the Freie Universität Berlin Andrea participated in various archaeological projects
and excavations in Germany, Mexico and Belice.
While connected with the National Museums in Berlin through an internship opportunity Andrea became familiar with their collections and began working as a museum educator.
For the last decade, Andrea has focused her work at Berlin´s Museum Island, at the Pergamon Museum in particular, by working for their permanent exhibitions as well as the museum's temporary exhibitions, especially those realized by the Collection of Antiquities, the Vorderasiatisches Museum (Museum of the Ancient Near East) and the Museum of Islamic Art.
In addition she worked in a wide range of other museums and galleries through her work as educator.
Andrea is currently also engaged as a PhD student and is looking forward to share her enthusiasm and knowledge about archaeology with Art Historical London.
