Join Mariska as she introduces the unequaled century of aesthetic production of 17th century Holland, and get a deeper understanding of these down to earth, relatable, and ordinary people and their daily lives.Â
This journey through the Golden Age of Dutch Art will include an historical, religious and socio-economic background of 17th century Holland, explanation of the iconography and symbolism used, differences between these artists and artists in other countries of this period, and artistic developments made.
