About the Event
Join art history professor Stephanie Nadalo for a free online talk in English that explores the cosmopolitan artistic community of Cité Falguière during the early 20th century and its revival today.
Learn about the life of the artists whose creativity flourished long before they became famous and how the legacy of this creative community continues today through an international art residency program. From the stylized sculptures of Amedeo Modigliani to the expressionist paintings of Chaïm Soutine, art produced by residents of Cité Falguière captured the creative energy of the Parisian avant-garde.
