About the Event
No other artist was so true to himself and his own path to finding the most authentic and heartfelt way to represent a scene. With his almost sculptural painting style, his famous chiaroscuro technique, and his genuine interest in the story to be told, Rembrandt developed a uniquely personal style that would eventually bring him into difficulty with his buyers.
