About the Event
Kelmscott Manor has been shaped by the people who inhabited the house and no one more so than William Morris. He loved the original craftsmanship of the house and he, his family and his friends would add to its wonderful furnishings and intriguing stories. With the current exhibition at Tate Britain on the Rosetti's and Cindy's lecture on 21/4/23, we continue the story with a talk on Kelmscott House, Oxfordshire, leased by William Morris hoping to conceal the love affair between his wife Jane and his friend, Pre-Raphaelite artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
