About the Event

Romantic artist believed that industrialisation, commercialisation and urbanisation were destructive to our spirits and emotions and only by reconnecting to our feelings could we live fulfilled lives. This talk will focus on the artistic responses of four very different British artist, JMW Turner, John Constable, William Blake and Samuel Palmer to the ideals of Romanticism.
