Hattie Bennett

Hattie Bennett for Art Historical London

Hattie is a London based Art Historian with a special interest in the European Decorative Arts of the 18th century, particularly the framing and hanging of paintings and prints.

After working at the Print Room at Windsor Castle, she worked as a curator for a private collector of English prints.  Then at Arnold Wiggins and Sons, a specialist frame dealer which supplies frames to museums and private collectors.

During a break from employment to bring up her son, she completed an MA in Decorative Arts which focused on French and English interiors of the 18th century.

Today she deals privately in prints and drawings, and lectures for us! She runs regular classes in Battersea, occasional classes in Richmond, and tours at London museums.
