Private Tour: Museum of the Order of St John
  • Private Tour: Museum of the Order of St John

This trip will tell the unique and fascinating story of an ancient religious military Order, from its origins caring for sick pilgrims in eleventh century Jerusalem, through to its modern-day role with St John Ambulance, the international first aid charity. The museum houses a collection of more than 60,000 objects, ranging from historic arms and armour through to modern first aid equipment.

The Priory Church and the Crypt are visited on our private tour but outside of these occasions they remain closed to the public.

This guided tour will take place on a Wednesday at the beginning of 2018, 10.30-12.30, when we have sufficient participants.

nb The tour involves many steps and a spiral staircase.
