Sarah Ciacci is an art historian by training with a BA and MA in History of Art from University College London, specialising in late 19th century French painting and 20th century abstract art.
After graduating she worked in the art world for a few years trying different things before focussing on gallery education.
Realising that she did not know enough history/general knowledge she trained to become a Professional Blue Badge Tourist Guide (the hardest course she has ever done!) which provided a broad historical framework that helped her deepen her art historical knowledge.
She now works as a guide specialising in Art, Museums and Galleries, trains trainee guides in the National Gallery, teaches art history at Richmond University, does gallery education in various museums, lectures regularly and teaches short art historical courses.
