Cindy Polemis delves into the lives of two of Britain’s most famous artists of the early
20 th century: Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant-core members of the non-conformist
Bloomsbury Group- the circle of British intellectuals and artists famed for their
unconventional lives and intense partnerships. They were described by the American
writer Dorothy Parker as ‘living in squares, painting in circles and loving in triangles’
