About the Event
This weekend Ham House in Richmond will host their bi-annual 'Cabinets Unlocked', a moment to see inside the cabinets and explore their unique artisanship. During this period some of Ham House and Garden's talented volunteers will host talks on their unique collection of cabinets which include examples of marquetry, lacquer and inlay, collected from countries including Japan, China, and the Netherlands as well as England.
This talk will highlight the importance of these cabinets in the evolution of our modern day museums.
