About the Event
‘Henry Moore: Monumental Nature’ – a collaboration between the Henry Moore Foundation and Kew
Gardens – is the largest ever presentation of the artist’s outdoor sculpture, uniting his much-loved
20th-century works with Nature.
Thirty sculptures (including his bronze ‘Oval with Points’, ‘Reclining Woman: Elbow’ and ‘Large Two Forms’) can be found among the trees, glasshouses and iconic vistas of Kew, forming a magical, immersive trail.
There is also an indoor exhibition of more than 90 smaller works, including drawings, prints and maquettes (models for his larger forms), this will be the focus in wet weather.
