About the Event

The seismic cultural shifts of the early 20th century left no stone unturned, including the world of jewellery. Shaped by the creative energy of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Modernism, it was a world of opportunity and innovation for great houses (Cartier, Fabergé and Lalique), as well as solo designers like Jean Després and Georg Jensen. Their groundbreaking approaches redefined what jewellery could be, elevating it from mere ornament to striking works of art. Their innovative creations elevated adornment into striking, expressive works that still inspire today’s designers and captivate collectors around the world.
