About the Event

As France's last queen, Marie Antoinette’s legendary collection of diamonds, pearls, and precious keepsakes captured both the imagination and scandal of a nation. Her jewels have a legacy of scarcity, survival, and immense value, with many pieces lost during the French Revolution and later resurfacing through smuggling and inheritance.

Drawing inspiration from the V&A’s groundbreaking exhibition, "Marie Antoinette Style", featuring items never before seen outside France, we’ll discover how her treasures continue to inspire and captivate well into the 21st century. From intricately set diamonds and sumptuous pearl pendants to mythic tales of lost treasures and daring escapes, the story of her jewels is woven through the drama of revolution and the fascination of centuries.
