Study Trip Antwerp
We are currently gazing interest in a 3 day stay in Antwerp, Belgium, this Autumn.
Being pretty much the same distance from The Hague, where I grew up, as it is to Amsterdam - I spend many days in Anwerpt. Just that bit more extravagant than Holland. With excellent restaurants and good shopiing, it is a treat to spend a few days in this wonderful city.
Home town of Rubens (we can visit his home and studio), Brueghel, and many other well known names, it houses some excellent art collections. Only recently the RA did an exhibition on work by the Belgian aritis James Ensor, with the majority of the works on show from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp.
Lovely gabled houses, art nouveau buildings, and with a keen interest in modern architecture, Antwerp really offers something for everyone.
The price of this study trip will cover 3 full days of guided visits and all entrances to museums and churches, and 3 lunches.
Not Included:
- Flights/train and hotel will not be included in the prize, although we are happy to help with bookings, and will let everyone on this trip know about the flights and hotel we as organizers shall be taking.
- Dinners are not included, although an effort will be made to organize restaurants each night for those who would like to eat together.
- Transport between home and London Heathrow
- Travel Insurance. We strongly advise you to be covered by adequate travel insurance.
